Some notes before I go

Dear Adventurers,

I am off. After much planning (or procrastinating), and some packing, and lots of advice, I am so excited that I am off in just a week. Just some last minute notes:

1. I will try to get to the Internet twice a week. You all will be getting a first person first time told account of the whole experience, hopefully it will be both heart felt and interesting. (Although I fear that there will also be some embarrassing naive paragraphs full of misunderstandings and foolish behavior on my part.) And unlike my first grade journal, I promise to write about more then just what I ate for breakfast.

2. Grammar and spelling will be taken into account for the final grade. However, I will be using public stations and cafes and I am a little worried about if I can find an English keyboard. This on top of my regular misspellings and grammatical errors -- well, I will ask for your patience and forgiveness in advance.

3. There will a Traditional Asian Medicine corner in most of my entries which can be skipped over or skipped to depending on your interests.

4. There was much interest in what I was going to bring on this trip. The next entry is that very important list (with an addendum up and coming of what I forgot).
